Specials Turn Off Automatically

Hi.

I have written a program that creates an sql file to insert all my products from file into the database. Every product has a special price.

When I import the sql file, the status of all specials is 1 - active, however, as soon as I go into the Admin section, the status of all specials is set to 0 - inactive.

Does anyone know why this could be?

What are the dates in the specials table for:
specials_date_available
expires_date

specials_date_available: 0000-00-00
expires_date: 0000-00-00

This is for all records.

Those are incorrect dates and will cause the specials to reset to 0 the first time the shop or admin are hit ...

When dates are not being utilized for start and ending times, use: 0001-01-01 00:00:00
