Adding different model numbers on same product

I am in process of setting up an automotive store.

Several of our products have the same item manufacture, description and same photo, but different part numbers and prices for different varations.

For example, if I am selling springs, there are different rates of springs that lower a car different amounts.

Is there a way to have something like this in zencart, where you have a generic description and photo, but then different item names/numbers/prices?

I am talking about just the top Eibach Spring section I listed above, not the rest of the springs listed. Techically they are different parts, but they all use the same image/description.

However, I dont want the user to have to sift through the products to find what they are looking for by looking at basically the same product 3 or 4 different times.

IMO, it is much cleaner and simplistic to have one description/picture with the final options listed, than to have the exact same item description/picture listed over and over again.

Possible to do?

You would need to do quite a bit of custom coding to be able to have something like that ...

You want multiple products that share a single description ... but you do not want to copy as duplicate products as then they'd have to see the descriptions ...

This can be written ... but it would be a pretty large job to do it ...
