Google Froogle feeder - help

Hi,

Anybody able to point me in the right direction (have searched for an answer on the forum, but cannot find one)

Installed "google froogle feeder" ok. And seems to upload fine, but keep getting the message below in an email from Google base.

"Thank you for submitting your bulk upload to Google Base US. However, we
noticed that your items should be included in Google Base UK instead, as
your prices are in pounds sterling. To do this, we ask that you delete
your bulk upload from your account, then re-register it after logging in
to your account through this link: "

I have looked at all the configuration settings and cannot find where to upload to Google base uk.

By the wasy i upload to ftp://uploads.google.com

I already have a uk account registered, but it keeps submitting to US.

ANy help would be appreciated

try changing .com to co.uk for the upload.

Thanks for the reply.

I may just try that. I have been downloading the file from the
"feed" file and manually uploading to the UK site.

To be honest i have been bogged down with all the things i need to do to my new site. Which is quite a steep learning curve for me as it is!

just downloaded the new feeder myself and uploaded it, got the same problem. Did u get an email from froogle? because it gives u a link to click on. I will try and see if it works :)

Yes i did get a rejection email from Google base. I also tried changing the ftp location to .co.uk instead of .com, but it still did not work.

Looks like back to the manual upload way. Which works but is a pain.

ok ive uploaded a new one on the link theyve sent me, guessing its going to fail but im going to email them and ask them at google why this is happening and then i will repost to try and help u aswell.

I had the same problem and even when i managed to uplift it to the right location using the link below. There are a few things you need to change in the file because they have changed the format after the change from Froogle to Google Base.

The feed file generates a text file and its the attributes in the first line that need to be changed before Google will accept it.

Original...

product_url name description price image_url

Needs to be changed to...

link title description price image_link

Ok think ive sorted the problem, when i do it on zencart i save the froogle file and upload it myself through ggogle bulk upload. My bulk upload switches me to :

http://www.google.com/base/

instead of

http://www.google.co.uk/base/

try that on google bulk upload
