Can anyone tell me why the I am getting a 'contact us' instead of a buy now button?

Also when I bid up to the reserve price all options disappeared and there was no indication that I had won. In the bottom right hand corner it shows the two test bids as below

Previous Bids
£15.00 - Bidder ID: 1
£1.00 - Bidder ID: 1

I entered and notification at the top that I am the highest bidder as below

Auction ends in 7 days 0 hours 7 minutes - 2 Bids
Current Highest Bid: £15.00
You are the current high bidder!

despite the auction finishing.

I actually love this contribution and would be delighted if I could resolve these problems.

There is also no indication what the start bid is despite setting this up.

Can anyone help?

There is no way of paying? I have set payment options for paypal.

There is no way of paying? I have set payment options for paypal.

There is a lot in here.

I cannot explain the no payment options. auction doesnt play with those settings, so if you had a payment method before it should still be there if you properly applied the mod

The lack of detection of end of auction could happen if you set the CRON option ON and didnt install a CRON job. It is safest to set it OFF until after you get the site working.

I have a problem in that the "Buy Now" button is displaying in the category/product listing page - even though I have this set to zero under the Configuration menu and haven't specified a Buy It Now price in the item listing. Right now, anyone can put an item in their cart and pay for it - at whatever the auction price is now.

Any ideas on how I can solve this?

You know, actually, I just turned off that box for the whole site on the listing pages. Maybe it's what you have to do if you're running auctions? Anyway, it will work for us.

Also, maybe I'm missing it, but is there a plan to or has anyone come up with more of an "auction admin" mod so that my client can see who the winners are to track them down if necessary? I don't want to have to delve into the database every time an auction closes.

I have this mod installed... everything seems ok... but for some strange reason no products are showing up in my auction category.

when i click on the link for auctions i get a blank page and the message:

Sorry, the product was not found.

cant figure out what i am missing. what file controls the product display and why are they not showing??

did you create a cat called Auctions , turn it on, then add items making them available date wise and also enable them?
you could send a link to your site

Yes... i have a cat called "products up for auction"... i have one product in the category and it is enabled and the date available was set correctly.

The reason i asked which file controls that page b/c i had modified the tpl_modules_product_listing page and thought that might have been the problem. I have other mods installed so i made sure any code that did not match was added to this new mod.
