Broken Images

Hi everyone!

I am new here so please forgive me for asking if this is covered somewhere else, but I have tried using the search and cant come up with an answer for my specific issue. So if this has been covered somewhere else if someone could point me in the right direction that would be great!

I am having a problem w/ broken images (smeared & pixilated) when I try using example templates from the contribution area. The pictures look fine when I look at the images on my PC, but after I ftp the files to my website they are all ickey. I am using FileZilla to transerf my files, and using crimson editor to make adjustments to the files. I am strictly working of of the newbie information on the board. The first template moved over just fine w/ all images intact and correct, its just the contributions that are not working right. Any ideas?

What mode did you use to upload the images? Images need to be in binary mode for FTP.

I uploaded everything in ASCII. I thought I read somewhere that ASCII was the mode you should use to transfer everything. I guess I must have read wrong. Are images the only thing that needs to be uploaded in binary or does everything. Thank you som much for looking. I truely appriciate it. Oh by the way I noticed in your profile you create zencart templates. Are you still doing this? It looked like you were not accepting new customers on your website.

HI there,

You are a wonderfull! Thank you so much for letting me know I needed to be in binary mode. I reloaded the files in binary and it corrected the immage problem! Yea! I would still be interested in a custom template if you are accepting new clients or if anyone else is for that matter. I dont have a big budget for a template, but like the work on your site. Please let me know, Thank you again for replying and helping out with my image problem
