newbie - CC problem

I've just recently installed Zencart and have not gone public yet. We use Authorize.net to process our credit cards. Also, I've set up credit card config to take Visa, MC, AmEx. When I try to make a purchase with my own personal credit card, I receive an error message:
" The credit card number starting with was not entered correctly, or we do not accept that kind of card. Please try again or use another credit card."

I've tried with both my Visa and my MC. Any help is appreciated - my brain is numb from setting this thing up :)

Check that your API Login ID and Transaction Key are correct ... it is usually best to copy and paste these ...

Try regenerating your Transaction Key ... this often is a quick fix ...

Test a manual transaction on the AuthorizeNet site ... make sure your account works before attempting to interface to it ...

Check what credit cards are set on AuthorizeNet site ... Check that those same credit cards are set in the Configuration ... Credit Cards ...

Check that your site is secure on the checkout ... AuthorizeNet hates unsecure sites ...

API Login and TK are correct - working fine on a conference registration system we have that is separate from Zen-Cart.

Test a manual transaction on the AuthorizeNet site ... make sure your account works before attempting to interface to it ...

Transactions are working through auth.net and thru our registration system.

Check what credit cards are set on AuthorizeNet site ... Check that those same credit cards are set in the Configuration ... Credit Cards ...

Checked and correct.

Check that your site is secure on the checkout ... AuthorizeNet hates unsecure sites ...

Checkout is secure.

Everything seems fine ... other ideas?

I've figured things out... I was setting up as SIM and needed to be AIM. Thanks for the help!
