    Please explain in more detail.

What would be in the dropdown menu?
How would you control its contents?
    Why do you want this?
What problem is it attempting to solve?

Are you forcing a minimum purchase or just want to up the stakes?

Each Product has separate settings the defaults are:
    Products Minimum 1
    Products Maximum 0 (unilimited)
    Products Units 1

Change them to suit your needs ...

    I'm still not understanding you.

    Zen Cart normally offers:
    - buy-now-default-quantity = 1 unless a "minimum" has been set like Ajeh mentioned
    - if a "minimum" other than 0 or 1 has been set, then the customer is not allowed to purchase less than the minimum
    - if a "maximum" has been set, then the customer is not allowed to purchase more than the maximum

What are you asking to do?
    - do you want to just change the default from 1 to 3 for *all* products?
    - do you want to force the customer to order a "set minimum quantity" for individual products? (ie: 3 instead of 1 ... and never let them buy less than 3)?
    - do you want to force the customer to never be able to purchase "more" than a "set maximum" per product? ie: 5 for shoes, or 18 for t-shirts?
    - are you looking for something that affects *all* products equally, or can be controlled "per product"?

Why are you looking for this? What is the business need you're trying to solve?

I think what he is asking is this:

Instead of the standard box next to the add to cart button with a qty of 1 in it which the customer can change to any number, he wants it to be a drop down box with qty's in it from say 1 to 10 so the customer can just select the qty desired from the drop down box. I had this on a previous shop but cannot remember how I did it.

    Thanks
    Pete
