    Default Discover card problem

I am using the authorizenet_aim module to accept credit cards. I have successfully received orders with mastercard and visa. I just got an email from Discover saying that we have something set up wrong. So I put the shop back into test mode and authorize.net into test mode and endered the test Discovercard #. It doesn't accept it. I tried turning off and on Discover card in configuration>credit cards...

When Discover card is off and I run a test I get a red box that says " The first four digits of the number entered are: 6011. If that number is correct, we do not accept that type of credit card. If it is wrong, please try again."

When Discover card is on and I run a test and get "(TESTMODE) The merchant does not accept this type of credit card. - Your credit card could not be authorized for this reason. Please correct any information and try again or contact us for further assistance."

    What should I try next?

Is your authorize.net account (on their website) configured to accept Discover cards?

Please dont double post, it gets confusing,

Zen cart works with discover and amex,
it has to be turned on and attached to your authorize.net account, once this is done, you need to regenerate your hash key

    ok that didn't work.

I regenerated a new source code with Discover turned on and still the test takes the customer back around to page 2.

Discover said the looping back around with no error message meant a wrong number was plugged in on the cc processors end. So I called ...and called...and called...and sure enough one of the many levels envolved between us the card company and usaepay had a mis-written merchant number for our account with discover. We had to fax them the letter from Discover Network to confirm it was the same number we had on file. Whew...now have to wait 24 hours for them to comply.
