duplicate products showing on home page

Hello All,

I just about have my first zen cart up and running but am facing 1 challenge.

On my home page.. my products aren't sorting properly... or are sorting properly but I haven't set them properly.

When I refresh this page many times I'm get duplicate products next to each other. Sometimes all three are the same like some slot machine jackpot.

What am I doing wrong?

Can you check in the admin, if you really have three entries?
Or is it something wrong with the function

It's something wrong with the functionality.

Isn't that really the "new products" box with a new title? The New Products box shows random products to fill up the number of spaces configured for display. This is by design.

Almost looks like in your customization you may have broken some logic in there ...

I got it working, but it looks now that my client doesn't want the products on the home page ... such is life in the fast lane.
