HTML Editor

In "My Store" I clicked the HTML Editor on but it's not coming up when I edit. Is there anything else I need to do to be able to use the editor?

There have some posts about this not being compatible with FireFox & maybe other browsers and only for IE...I have personally not seen this but you can search the posts on html editor and read for things that may apply to your situation

Thank you. I thought there was a HTML editor when you put the description about the product in. I did try another cart to compare, so maybe it was the other cart. Swore it was Zen Cart though.
I've got another question. Lets say I want to edit the box that says "New Products". Instead of it saying "new products" can I get it to say "Sale of the month" or something like that and stick a product in the box? Hope i didn't confuse you. Thank you so much.

I did search this out just now. I do have FireFox and IE. Just installed FireFox 2 days ago. The HTML Editor only works when I use FireFox and not IE. So glad I'm not losing my mind as I thought for sure there was a good HTML Editor on Zen Cart. Won't be uninstalling FireFox anytime soon

In your admin > tools > developers tools > at the bottom left enter "New Products" and in the dropdown select all catalog files and then search...Instances of your search text will be found with the path, file name, and line #. You can use this for most all text that you are seeking.

You need to edit the english.php file BTW. replacing the 'New Products' entry with your description...but you might be happier with the specials function.

Going through the boxes and saw a box for specials. Looked for a place that I could put the product in the special box and didn't see it.
