Order not sending to Paypal

My client and I are having trouble getting the order to go to his PayPal account.

try to buy something with the 4111..... test number.

We have looked over the Paypal module and we can't find out why after the credit card confirmation is emailed to him, he then goes to log into his Paypal account the no order is there. We need to solve this problem today.

How do I fix this problem?

Your message confuses me. I think you have 2 payment modules confused.

Are you saying that making a purchase never goes "to" the paypal site in order to make payment?

Are you saying you're trying to use a test CC number on a live PayPal authorization system? Sorry, but that will always result in a declined sale, and thus you'll never see an order approved.

"Credit card information is emailed to him" ...? Paypal never emails credit card numbers.

Are you sure you're using the PayPal module, or are you simply typing CC numbers into the basic CC module during checkout?

I think what you need is this:

1. Go to Admin->Modules->Payment. If you have "Credit Card" enabled, turn it off. (click on "Remove")
2. Now do a test purchase. Paypal will be listed as a payment choice. After confirming your order on page 3 of checkout, you will go to the paypal site to make payment. Then things should function more like you expected.

If you are paying by credit card through paypal, you don't enter any credit card information on the Zen Cart site.
