Can't Delete Products After Upgrade

I haven't been able to delete products so I searched the forum and saw this was a bug in the version I was running v1.3.0 so I just upgraded to v1.3.0.2 and I still cannot delete products.

I'm trying to delete a product that is NOT linked. Just a one category product.

And before someone asks me if I upgraded to v 1.3.0.2... I will say it again... YES... I did.

Edit: When I upgraded, I just did the changed files upgrade that was on the download site --> zen-cart-v1.3.0.2-changed_files_only.zip

What is the error you are getting when you are trying to delete?
Also, can we see the url of the product you are trying to delete?

I'm not getting an error. The admin screen just flips back to the product list.

The product I'm trying to delete is not visible on the site. I have it turned off because I don't want people to buy it right now.

Are you looking for something particular?

Can you try adding a new product for testing and then deleting it and let me know what happens?

I should have tried that first... Just did... can't delete the test product.

Is there an error log file somewhere for zen that might tell me why the products aren't deleting?

I dont think this is some system error etc
And Logical errors are not captured in the zen cart


Can you go to phpmyadmin and try deleting the product you have just created?
(PS: Be careful before you do this and have the backup ready)

Redo your upgrade using the Full Version ZIP ... the "changed files only" file only contained fixes from v1.3.0.1 to v1.3.0.2 ... but you never installed v1.3.0.1, so you missed the bugfix you were looking for.

I can do that but what purpose would that serve? That's not going to fix the original problem which is having zen delete the products.

DrByte... that's what I was wondering which is why I posted how I upgraded. I'll try the full upgrade and come back if it doesn't work.
