    add main nav to page

I have zen cart installed in a folder called "catalog". this folder is in the root directory. Also in the root directory is my index.html file. I would like to add the main nav php code to this file but can't figure it out.

Is there any way to do this?

    Thanks

What action are you attempting to acheive?

Do you want your store to load directly from your http://www.your_domain.com entry?

Do you have other content that loads from the base url?

If someone is shoping and then goes back to the index page. I would still like the log out, my account, shopping cart buttons displayed.

Because my index page is not zencart index.php but a static html page.

    Thanks

I am pretty bad at php coding but I think that your static html page would require some php to pluck this information for display. This is a dynamic thing and would need to changing cart information to display correctly...

It's not a good idea to have people dropping in and out of the cart to go to another "homepage".
For one, if they have a guest cart, it will drop and they will leave frustrated that they had to keep entering a product.
If you need them to have information other than a product description, use the EzPages to provide content while the Zen session is intact.
This doesn't mean you can't put a link in the navbar for the main site but I would not change the home link to anything other than the Zen main page.
    A little help with colors.
