Ok, I found them, and there were 5, so I've deleted 4...but my site still has 5 boxes. :/

I read all through this section but still don't quite get it - hopefully this is simple.

I have pages from outside the cart that I want to appear on the site map page.

I figured I would copy my html onto a new page on the EZ pages creator. I gave it a name, and added it to the sidebar AND to the footer, and gave it a number in both cases.

But the page doesn't appear to be showing up anywhere on my site. (including not on the sitemap page).

Also - I want to be able to control my page name (for example map.php).

(But I also want to include the side boxes etc.)

Am I going about this in the correct manner?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry to ask a possibly obviosu question, but have you enabled the EZ-Pages sidebox and the EZ-Footer?

For the page to show up in the sitemap you would need this add-on.

Thanks for pointing me to that mod. I'll get it.

I don't have to actually HAVE TO have them in the footer etc. I have my own custom header which will link to them. I just need them in the site map.

But can I NAME the pages whatever I want to?

That depends what you mean by name. You can give them whatever title you would like, and that would also show up as the link name for them. However, EZ-Pages aren't separate files - they're stored in in your database and served like CMS pages, so there is no file to name (for example) filename.php.

    Ah ... I see.

So then the best way to do this would be to use my index.php as a template and rename it to filename.php with the new content in the main center box.

Then use EZpages to get it into the system, and use that MOD to get it into the site map?

Or is there a way to add more pages into the list that comes up in the define pages editor in admin? That might work better.

(I don't want to create unncessary work of course.)

Do you have the EZ-Page marked for the Sidebox? Not marked for the Sidebox, No Display ...

Do you have the Sort Order set for the EZ-Page that you created? No Sort Order, No Display ...

Are any Sidebox links showing for your EZ-Pages? If not, what are your settings under Configuration ... EZ-Pages Settings ... are they turned on?
