I have a fresh brand new v1.5.5e install I just set up.
I went to admin ez-pages, and created a new page, and put in the internal link of:
/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=16
and clicked Save.
The link works fine on storefront.
Then went back into admin ez-pages, and clicked edit. Link appears correct. Clicked save. Saved properly, no re-encoding. Link works fine on storefront..
