Lets say I want to put a straight link on my main page to a wiring diagram ez page. The link will say Wiring Diagram. Where do I make the link to since ezpages are stored in the database instead of in a file?

Hi all,
I have some question about EZ Page . I use to display my video in YouTuble and Google Video .
The issues is i have many video now and i would like to have page 1 - 2 - 3 in EZ Page.
Is it possible to do this ?
KIMSON
Thanks you .
Hi Everyone,
I feel dumb asking this question, but could someone explain to me how the internal link function at the bottom of the ez page creation works. What I'm trying to do is add a page to my site using EZ pages. This new page will be a listing of all my image galleries. What I want to do is link this new page to the top-level "Gallery" link in the CSS horizontal flyout menu which I customized.
When I enter a relative path in the internal link dialogue box, how is that link incorporated into the page? Where does it show up on the finished page?
My second question is: after I'm done creating the EZ-page, how do I know what the URL for that page is? I need to know what it is so I can insert it into the code for the CSS flyout menu.
I'm probably making more out of it than I need to. Thanks in advance for any help.
Brad
An internal link would be a link that's already a part of Zen Cart. Say you want
your Contact Us link in the header instead of in a side box.
An external link is a link to a page outside the Zen Cart structure. Say you want to link to an html page (that could be uploaded to your public_html folder on your
server).
Hope that helps!
For some reason EZ Pages consisting of internal links to define pages such as 'contact us' do not appear in tables-of-contents even when given the same chapter#. Is this to be expected? Is this a defect, and are there workarounds?
I want to keep using certain define pages such as contact us or for gift certificates because they have interactive forms beyond the straight HTML that the EZ pages generally contain--but I was hoping to avoid putting these EZ pages at the top level of the hierarchy, instead putting them as sub-chapters underneath a top-level parent 'Customer Service' EZ page.
Thanks in advance.

I've tried searching & cannot find an answer to this question:
How to I keep the ez pages active when the site is down for maintenance? The contact page still works, so folks can still email through zencart, but the ez pages links just forward to down for maintenance & I need them active while this site is redone. (ez pages are using the html option in case that makes a difference).
Any help would be greatly appreciated, I'm not afraid to go editing files if I need to, but am hoping there's an easier way I'm just missing?
Hi,
I think I'm right in saying: when you want to define the state of your site during maintenance, you go to Configuration Website Maintenance in Admin.
You can decide if you want prices to be shown, whether header, footer or sideboxes are shown.
You could turn on your header & your sideboxes while your side is under maintenance, or you could just turn on your header & your right sideboxes - if that's where your ezpages are situated - either right or left or both together.
I haven't actually seen this in operation, but I was configuring it last night so thought I'd answer.
Hope that helps.
Regards
