    Authorize.Net(not aim) Help!!!!

So my boss wants to use authorize.net for our online store (not the AIM version). I am having issues with entering CC info and it going through. Its my understanding that with the authorize.net it actually takes the customer out of your store to their website to fill out all CC info? Is this correct...

What happens for us when i enter either a test or a real number it doesn't take me out of our website it just gives me an error saying there is a problem with the card. PLEASE HELP...I am not really sure what i am doing wrong...also i have done a search and found most threads relate toAIM and i know the setup is diffrent.
    THanks

    Emily

What kind of card are you testing with?
Does it match with the options activated in Admin->Configuration->Credit Cards ?

I thought you said you were NOT using the AIM module..... but that error message ONLY appears if the AIM module is trying to process a card and fails.

    1. Please confirm whether you're using "authorizenet" or "authorizenet_aim"
    2. Who is your host?
    3. Is your account in testing mode?
    4. Were you using a real credit card, or a test one? Does it work any differently with a real one?
