    Default Banner manager and ssl

I was getting the dreaded secure and non secure items. I traced it to the banner manager. All of my banners are html so I started disabling all of the offending banners to no avail. Long story short, I had set up a new banner group called extra_wide_bann. I was using two banner groups in footer position 2 and three the wide and extra_wide. Once I changed it to just one group per position the problem went away. Hopefully this will help someone else.

Chances are that your HTML banners contained IMG tags whose SRC attribute pointed to non-secure URL's. Changing those would have solved the problem.

Note: also for banners like that, there is a setting on the Banner Manager on a per Banner basis to indicate whether or not to show the banner on secure pages ...
