New install Super Slow loading

I got everything to install just fine. I have ZenCart installed at two different websites (same host). One just to play around on and the other to actually use it live.

The one that I use to fool around on loads really fast. But the one I will be using for real, loads super slow, and I mean like slooooooow. Both sites are served by the same host and everything.

Anyone have some advice?

How about a couple of URLs?

Are you sure they are on the same server with your hosting site?

Its a little faster today so I'm guessing that maybe they aren't on the same server.

Not sure if this would make a difference on a new install but I set the caching to none when I installed it.

You appear to be on different servers ...

Neither site has GZip turned on ...

I'd speak to GoDaddy about getting you on servers that are less loaded ...

I have sites with 700,000 products setup faster than your's ...

Tip: Disable Category counts.

It should improve page load time a bit.

I have installed a zencart for a client here:

If you test a search... say for 112009 (a part number) you will see the difference between the two carts length of time to produce results

This is on a godaddy DEDICATED server with only this store on it.

I have read through many posts and taken all recommendations -

1. Gzip is off under gzip compression
2. All of the "show" items are turned off in index listing except
3. Server has been rebooted

STILL very slow.... and godaddy support says it is a zencart issue - not an issue with the server.

He has no images to tie things up - just descriptions and prices and 182797 products at the time - but planning to add over a million products......

Can anyone help? I would really appreciate it! I can give an admin the access to the zencart or whatever is needed to get this site to speed up.
