Maybe helpfull what does the options in the admin mean:

Target Address
Affiliation
Use sku/code
Use pagename
Attributes Brackets
Attributes Delimiter
Tracking Outbound
Tracking Outbound Links Prefix
Use AdWords Conversion
AdWords Conversion ID
AdWords Conversion Language
Use pagename

These are options in the admin, but there is nothing what tell what these options do

"Tracking Outbound" and "Tracking Outbound Links Prefix" will be described in the next version. All others are describing. For example "Affiliation" - "Optional partner or store affilation". What is unclear?

I am an admitted newbie at this stuff and probably the root of all my problems.

I have played around with Simple Google Analytics as well as Google Analytics by Andrew. Haven't had much luck at all.

Is there anyone out there that can help me? Perhaps look in my database and see how to get the scripts in the right place so Google sees my site and does it's thing?

Please advise if anyone can help. It would be much appreciated.

I am on the google anyalytics website for my account and it shows UA-6020055. So, should I cange mine in admin to be UA-602005-5?

I change the account to UA-602005-5. I see no change on the status at the google analytics site, but, I think that takes some time.

Is there any other way to check to ensure it is working?

I have created several accounts and there still isn't a dash number in the account. How about a link to where that is explained.

I loaded Google Analytics Integration by Andrew and lost my footer. I tried installing extra code to tpl_footer.php. So, took code out. Still no footer. I re-loaded from default template tpl_footer.php and tpl_main_page.php. Still no footer.

I already have an account with GA and have it on admin/confi/google analytics.

Can someone help in getting footer back?

End of tpl_footer.php file looks like this:
