Not sure what link you are trying to access. Give this a try to download the mod for tracking with Google Analytics.

Hi guys,

I downloaded the simple google analytics and followed all the steps in there. But for some reason by googe analytics is not tacking visits.

The status does say that it is receiving data but nothing is appearing.

I am wondering if it is to do with a couple of things:

1: My main site is a .co.uk but I have the same domain in .com being redirected to the .co.uk site.

2: I did not have a html_header.php file in my custom template but I did find one in the template_default common folder and edited that one instead as described in the read_me file.

3: Google analytics take a while to capture data?

I did read when signing up for the google analytics that I have to paste some code in all the files I want it to track. I did not do this. But I did follow the instrucstions in read me file so not sure what is wrong.

Anyone got any ideas?

Have the same problem was wondering if anyone find any solution 4it.

I have the latest version of this mod installed.

I have noticed that there seems to be a difference to what is being reported compared to actual sales on my site.

for example I might have 5 sales and only 3 show on google analytics..?

has anyone else experienced this?

I have cowoa installed - could it be something to do with this? (though not sure why it would as checkout confirmation and success are the same files being used)

is there anything I can do to debug to see if there is a common trend?

when I downloaded the files there were more java script files than the instruction said to upload... should I have these files on the server or not?

Hi,

I have downloaded and installed Andrew's Google Analytics mod, but google is not registering any hits. I'm wondering if I installed it correctly. I think I might be missing something.

Here's what I did:

I put in the supplied files into following directory:
/includes/templates/custom/common/tpl_footer_googleanalytics.php

Then I dumped the jscript foloder into my custom template folder.

Then I configured the mod from admin, entered my analytics account number. Went to google analytics settings and turned ecommerce to yes.

Have I done everything correctly so far? Are there files I have to edit? Insert code? Please help. Please be as detailed as possible.

That version of GA has some issues from what I understand.

I would recommend removing it and looking at post 658 below with a link to Simple Google Analytics.

A more robust and user friendly system.
