hey folks, i thought i loaded everything correctly, but i'm now getting this error

The Google Analytics tracking code has not been detected on your website's home page. For Analytics to function, you or your web administrator must add the code to each page of your website.

any ideas as to what i missed

I installed this add-on yesterday and my "Tracking" in google analytics still shows a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark inside ("Tracking Unknown"). Here are the steps I followed:

1) I uploaded the files in the add-on to the appropriate directories
2) I installed the SQL patches in install.sql
3) I configured in Admin->Configuration->Google Analytics to include my GA #
4) I went into my GA account and changed E-Commerce to Yes.

Am I missing any steps here?

Yes, it will work with 1.3.7.

Will it work with 1.2.7 allso ?

I installed Analytics a couple of months ago and thought that I had it right but it has been brought to my attention that I have some coding visible at the bottom of my pages. can someone take a peek and give me an idea of what I did wrong and what to do to fix it?

Thanks to econcepts and everyone who worked on and supported the GA setup, this is an extremely valuable tool for monitoring performance of our online store.

The site I am working with is currently not running an AdWords program, but we still want to track e-commerce data with GA. I have seen e-commerce transactions setup on other sites (non Zen Cart) that track all transactions and not just adWords. But in order to turn conversion tracking on, we need to have an AdWords Conversion tracking number inputted into the Zen Cart Administrative tool. Also, when I login to Google Analytics and click on the e-commerce data it lists all the sources - organic search, referring sites, paid search, direct traffic, etc. Why would they show this segmented if this tool was only for AdWords?

The other point that I am trying to make is that the GA.js code won't show up on the 'checkout_success' page unless an AdWords Account # is inputted and the conversion tracking is turned on.

BUT, what if we want to set this page up as a 'goal' in Google Analytics? This way we could at least monitor our conversion rate by seeing how many people reached that page. This is a critical key performance indicator but we are unable to measure this right now. Without an AdWords number and the ability to turn on conversion tracking, we cannot do this.

I don't have the programming knowledge/resources to be able to customize the 'checkout_success' page to track all of these transactions. But, I think the Zen Cart Admin is hindering our ability to track all transactions. Can someone please look into this and let me know their thoughts on a possible update for this?

The Google Analytics help page for e-commerce transaction does not mention an AdWords number whatsoever:

hello all, I am using 1.3.xx

I installed analytics and it it work for a while, I then it stopped. but my google account still does not give me an error. it says my account is being read..

I have since then moved to SSl, and I changed a template.

but when i ran a scan using epikone, it said analytics was not in any of my page..

how do i add/correct this issue
