Member Sign Up/Log In Problems

I have recently installed the latest version of Zen Cart and I am experiencing a number of problems with member sign up:

1. New members are not receiving the 'welcome' email.
2 When members log in they are still being greeted as a guest and not by their member name.
3. When a member adds items to their cart and proceeds to checkout they are taken back to the login page.


Can anyone advise me on how to rectify these problems or point me to any appropriate tutorials ?

can you go to your admin panel, then tools, then server information and tell us your version of php, mysql, zencart, and the database patch level?

There sure is!

I've looked through the generated pages for most of the site and the only thing that I can see is that references to files might be mixed. can't see the background processes but sometimes the problem is caused by copying all files to a override directory are not copying the one that needs to be there.

Try going back to default in the admin control panel and see if the problem persists.
