    Default Viewing CSS templates

What is the best way to be able to view style sheet templates? I use DW4 and I was trying to read about how to import them there to be able to modify them. I was unable to discover how to do this from the macromedia tutorials. I think I could manage to upload them correctly with the over-ride tutorial but I would like to see them first and use a Wysiwig editor to help me get what I want before uploading and over-riding something I hadn't even seen.

I would greatly appreciate any helpful suggestions I could get on this topic.

    You either:
1: Use FireFox & the web developers tools

2: Obtain the extentions for DW to allow php code interaction

Thank you for your suggestions. I will try to find these extensions for Dream Weaver and I have already downloaded Firefox, the web developer add-on and Topstyle. Now all I have to do is learn to use them.

Actually I was a little concerned. I read a comment by someone on CSS that said that Version 1.3* didn't work properly if all it's files were on one php file. Then of course there are all the gif files and media files etc.

It seems the only hope of seeing what a template looks like, without uploading it to a server, is by finding the DW extensions that permit php code intereaction.

The DW extentions are $$, uploading is not a particular problem....but if you have an idea of what you want,, just create it.

    You might look here:Extentions

The more I look at CSS the more I realize that I don't know anything. I used to think it was html. I guess that is what Dreamweaver does to our brains. I do like Dreamweaver even though. I have no idea where to look for the extensions I need and at this point where I just want to get our store running. I think I need to look for another way to do this. Thanks so much for your help.

It is, by analogy, the clothes that html wears...
