How to set shipping for a specific item?

Hi All,

Let's say that I've got s specific item, that I want to explicitly set the shipping for. Is there a way to do that?

I have a client that sells paper certificates (in honor of the hard work you've done, you're been awarded this certificate for diligence, etc. etc., whatever the customer wants it to say).

They would like to have explicit shipping for these items, as they will be shipped individually. Probably something like $0.39 apiece, is my understanding.

Any thoughts on how to do this?

If there's no simple way to do this, is there then a way to *disable* shipping for a product, so that it ships free? Then they could simply build the cost of shipping into the product.

This seems the sort of question that would have been asked already, but I couldn't find it... apologies if this is something that has been discussed before and I was simply unable to find it.

You can use 0 weight for Free Shipping ...

You can mark the Product as Always Free Shipping for Free Shipping ...

Be sure to turn on the Free Shipping freeshipper Shipping Module ...

If you have a Product that needs an additional shipping on it, either add to the Price or add an Attribute for that such as:

Option Name: Special Shipping
Option Type: Radio Button

Option Value: Handling Fee

Set the Attribute as:

Option Name: Special Shipping
Option Value: Handling Fee
Default Yes
