Site getting slower, why?

Hay guys. I just moved our site to a root dedicated server.

When i first moved the site it was super fast, but it seems that its slowing down a bit now... why is this? and how do i fix it?

im caching via the file method, which i believe is the best option for me having 4K+ products as well as a large customer base.

i keep the logs clean, and reset the admin stuff, and everything that i can think of..


is there something im missing? any help would be great
