    Default Setup for Authorize.net

Hi, I am setting up an account with Authorize.net for the first time and I'm not sure exactly where to get all the info I need. My client provided me with a Merchant Profile (First National Merchant Solutions) that includes merchant number, BIN number, TID, Agent number etc... but no username or transaction key for Authorize.net. Does the merchant typically provide username and transaction key or do I need to setup an account with Authorize.net and provide them with the merchant profile?

    I appreciate any suggestions!

    Thanks,
    Scott

You should be getting an email from authorize.net prompting you to log in and change password. There you will get a transaction key and set preferences. It's pretty easy.

If not, call your bank and talk to the ecommerce person. Or call authorize.net, they are friendly.
