Hello!
I installed the simple_zen template on a customers site, then modified it to match their existing format..
It looks great in IE and Safari ...
firefox is another story. It seems like firefox is bypassing the main page template file and only reading index.php from the languages folder..
site: www.kathymilano.com/shop
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'll keep borrowing through code in the meantime
Thank you!
Rich
LOL .. apparently my first post from 5 minutes ago never made it.. so my response below probably doesn't make sense very much.. so it can just be ignored :)
Just figured it out ..
after looking at the page source through FF, I saw most of the page was commented out...
The culprit was in header template file ... I commented out some code and didn't put the ending --> (didn't affect IE since it was right about another commented section)

Hi
Is there a way to make the sub categories drop down from each category tab?
I tried installing Apple Zen but that has a 'Categories' link and then the categories, whereas I would like the Categories across the top like they are in Simple Zen - but with the drop down menu like in Apple Zen.
Is it possible to combine the two approaches?
Christine
In the download section, the CSS dropdown menu that I use in apple zen is available like that, its the Paul's version.
Thanks Jade
I've tried Pauls contrib and it does more or less do what I want - but it looks like the Apple Zen bar, rather than the Category Tabs that you have defined in Simple Zen (which I really like the cleanness of). I am assuming that changing the 'look' of the bar is down to the CSS.
I have tried increasing the size of the text, but then the drop downs don't seem to work. Still - I am confident that I must be on the right track now, so thanks for the pointer.
Can you tell me what the text attributes are that made the category tabs text look 'softer' than the ones in Pauls contrib.
Christine
I don't know if this is a template issue or a general Zen issue because I am still figuring this cart out, but how do you
1) Remove the number of products in each category from showing next to the category
2) Remove where it says "New Products For Month"
Thanks for a great template.
