Simple Zen Template - Support Thread

Hello
I need to use a separator (it could be the same grey one as you used in Categories - code <hr id="catBoxDivider"/>) between Boxes (search, Languages, currencies etc.)
Someone asked me to do this he said that templae looks great but Boxes are too close to each other which makes his site barely legible.
Another question is how can I change font and font colour ?
Can you explain me how I can change Home and Log In into more visible buttons (change them into icons like you used for shopping cart, contact us and my account)

I've searched just about everywhere and can not find an answer to solve my issues. I have attached an image of the main page of my site. Can someone tell me how to :

1. Increase margins so images are touching the top border. My image sizes are 100x100 not the standard 80x80.

2. Do something about the length of product titles. Can I wrap the text?

3. Remove the "Details" button from front page. I just want the image and the product title.

I have a quick question. I don’t use any boxes at all but space on the left and right is still occupied can I somehow change CSS so that area is taken by product itself (kind of stretch out middle column)?

If you login to your admin and click on Configuration - Layout setting you can turn off both left and right column globally there. You will see a value that looks like this:

Column Left Status - Global
Column Right Status - Global

By default it's set to 1 which means active. Changing it to 0 disables it.

Really like this design but I seem to have lost the icons on the right hand side of the logo for contact me, shopping cart etc. What/s happened? Many thanks.

This may be a Zen Cart issue not Simple Zen but can I stop the products rotating on the main page each time the page is refreshed or revisited.

On testing some of my testers said it annoyed them that the product had moved from its previous position.

Ok, the last post to this thread was over two years ago. Boy, do I feel all alone! I hope someone is out there to help me!

I've taken over support of a Zencart site, v1.3.8a, and I'm upgrading it to 1.5.x. I think my site is using the Simple Zen template (as shown in the template_info.php file). Does the latest version of Simple Zen Template, v2.1, work with 1.5.x?

I've confirmed that I have Simple Zen v2.1 on my v1.3.8a Zencart site. Sooooo, I should be able to copy over all of the Simple Zen files from the v1.3.8a site to the v1.5.1 site.

Make sense or am I off-base here?
