Contact US Page Not Sending

I have completed my first Zencart Install. The contact US page is not sending the message to my email account. All other email features are working properly in Zencart. The contact us page should be sending to sales AT ffury DOT com. I host my own email server (Surgemail) on the same windows server running Zencart.

Any help would be appreciated.

So after you fill up the form and presss on 'Send', what does it say?

After pressing send, It takes you to the Home: Contact page that says
"Your message has been successfully sent." The address bar is at
"/catalog/index.php?main_page=contact_us&action=success"

This message is never received at my sales AT ffury DOT com account.

I have tested all the other email functions such as newsletter sending,customer contact,account registration. All are working fine except for the contact message.

I examined the \catalog\includes\languages\english\contact_us.php file and it is Default and unmodified when compared to the original installation file.

I am at a loss.

In Admin->Configuration->Email Options->Contact Us Pulldown .... what happens if you leave this blank?

Removing the drop down box did the trick. The contact us page now forwards the email to the appropriate email account. I am satisfied to leave it this way if needed. Would you know how to use this feature though.

I was entering,

Sales <[email protected], Owner<[email protected]

Two issues:
1. your syntax is wrong ... you were missing the closing >
2. some servers seem to be unable to handle using this syntax and thus cannot use the pulldown in its current state. The code for this will be reviewed later to determine alternate approaches which may be more universally compatible.

1 AT test DOT com, 2 AT test DOT com
OR
Department1 <[email protected]>, Department2 <[email protected]>

works fine
Right?
