What am I doing wrong with Froogle feed instal.

1. Unzip and upload all files to your store directory;
2. Go to Admin->Tools->Install SQL Patches and install googlefroogle.sql
> I get 9 statments executed.
3. Go to Admin->Configuration->Google Froogle Configuration and setup all parameters
> that step is OK
4. Go to Admin->Tools>Google Froogle Feeder;
> it is not there. No Froogle feed undet TOOLS.


Please help.

Sorry to bring up an old post, but I an having the same problem; No Froogle Feed option under 'Tools'.

Any ideas?

How do you all utilize "install SQL Patches" tool. Do you upload the SQL or copy/paste the SQL? See the mod support thread for best method.

Did you by any change install GoogleSitemapAdmin before installing GoogleFroogle?

I had the same problem you describe and have been at it for hours to find out what I had done wrong. Going back to a backup and reinstalling had the same result.

Restored the backup for a third time and now I started out with GoogleFroogle. This time the menu appeared immediately. The install of GoogleSitemapAdmin after this gave me no problems. I now have both installed and displaying.

Had a look at both of the SQL install files because I suspect a statement in one of them crippling the other but my knowledge of SQL is too limited to actually point it out. Please try running the SQL files in reversed order. GoogleSitemapAdmin SQL first and GoogleFroogle SQL last and let us know if that did the trick. After all, it could have been just me ;-)

I'm leaving it as it is for now and move on to actually trying both mods out.
