How to use multiple combo boxes for attributes

Hi, I am trying to add following options to my product selection: Size, Shape, Color. I have added them as combo boxes but when I choose for example a size want to get a filtered shap and filtered color available for that size only because not all all shapes or colors are available for all sizes. Any help is appreciated as I am running crazy.....

I am facing the same problem. I searched but couldn't find anything about this... I know it's probably on the forum but just can't seem to locate it.

I have colors and sizes as attributes, but not all colors are available for all sizes so I need to have the colors update once the size is selected. Is this possible?

Dependant attributes with inventory are not available at this time.

I'm working on a shoe store where not all shoes come in all sizes and widths, not all styles come in all colors, or color combinations.

I used option name/option values to create a long list, in my case by manufacturers, of all the possible named colors and color combinations preceded by the mfgr's code number (for order fulfillment purposes). Then when I add attributes to the particular product, I can just pick out the ones that apply.

I used the same routine for shoe sizes and widths.

All the required information then shows up on the order.

Wish I could use color swatches, but I can't get images for all the colors, and then there would be the combinations to consider.
