Extras

Hello all

Very new to Zen Cart. Just installed using default values and products. All pages have displayed Music Genres and Record Companies.

Have searched admin console but can't seem to find how to remove these banners???

Please advise.

I didn't install the demo store, but I think you're talking about the sideboxes.

Admin-Tools-Layout Boxes Controller;

`switch off the boxes you don't want and you can re-organize as well.

If that's what you meant.

I've turned off all Column Boxes and still they exist!!!

I think there linked to Extra in Admin. Just a sub heading and it dissapeared from Index page.

How do i delete Extras???

Okay. Go to 'Extras' in Admin and delete everything in every category.

Wow, thats great all gone but in Admin the Categories still exist. Even though there's nothing there??

To delete subcats... double click on the actual category folder, from inside there you can delete them by clicking the red circle.

Admin-Catalog-Categories / Products;

You will see all the category directory. To the opposite end(right) of each folder icon... are the controls. (Edit..Delete...)

To get to the subcategories, you just double click on the folder icon(left side)
