Reinstalled Zencart on a new host....

So I just switched hosts from godaddy.com (aka gocrappy.com) to hostgator.com. I lost all my database files so since I did not have that much I decided to just re-install zen cart and upload my template and start from scratch.

I had paid someone to set all this up for me on gocrappy.com before but I started learning things by myself here and there. But I am now confused as to what needs to be changed to work with my new database as far as configure files go and all that.

So can anyone tell me exactly what files I need to go through and change to get my site to show up?

Maybe I didnt explain it correctly?

Anyways, I'm going to do a complete re-install of zencart. Upload my template and try and do everything manually.

HI! Christayah!

The best way to proceed would be to unzip the downloaded ZenCart folder into a
folder on your computer, then look for a folder named docs. In that folder will be 1. readme_installation.html. It has all the instructions on files that need to be changed, renamed, write permissions set, etc. for a successful installation.

Don't forget to apply the security patches once your installation is complete!
