Manufacturer Sidebox as List

How can I change the manufacturer sidebox to be formatted as a list (like the categories sidebox)?

It's currently a scrolling list and doesn't display many values.

You have two choices, either increase the size of the scrolling list via Admin > Configuration > Maximum Values > Manufacturers List - Scroll Box Size/Style, or change the tpl_manufacturers_select.php sidebox template to work in the same way as the categories list (which is much, much easier than it sounds). As I did this for a site a few months, I'll post the code in the downloads section.

I installed also the files but I couldn't see al my manufacturers.
