SSL & Add to Cart

Hi,

I purchased a template and now when I click "Add to Cart", SSL is not used.

Does anyone know where are I could change this so that SSL is used.

Thanks.

Re: SSL & Add to Cart

You have given very little information...what template, from whom, a url to see what is happening, etc.

Normally, the add to cart function is not a secure transaction and therefore is not transferred to the https:// function.

Check to see if login, and cc payment are transferred.

Re: SSL & Add to Cart

Apologies, some more info...

Zen Cart v1.3.0.2

When I click on login, members or shopping cart from the rop of page menu, all pages are secure https.

However, when on a product page and I click add to cart, I am sent to the shopping cart, but the page is not secure.

I have just checked out http://www.luminous-landscape.com (sorry, I can't give my own address as I am only developing locally at the moment) when I click on Shopping Cart from the top menu, the page is not secure, but the checkout page is.

Perhaps the mistake is that the Shopping Cart page is not supposed to be secure?

Please read that as "Your" mis-understanding....normally only the pages that are sensitive are secured as this provides for faster operation.

You can configure the catalog the admin or both to function fully under the https:// secured mode in the configure.php files respectively. But then be prepared for a slower functioning at least when converted to a hosting environ.
