FedEx module questions

Just wanted to get a little more information before setting up the FedEx module for a client.

- When an order is submitted, where the shipping method selected was FedEx, is FedEx notified of this order and thus expecting shipment and / or sending someone to pickup ?

- when using this module, do we HAVE to use the FedEx logo's ? Or can we simply use the module, remove all references to FedEx, and simply use it to obtain rates. The customer will still be selecting the FedEx shipping, but doing so unknowningly, and once the order is complete, the store can ship via any courier they wish.

ALL this module does is obtain rates,

you CAN NOT remove the images and references to fedex,
