No download access allowed

I am getting this error now and nothing has been changed:
Forbidden
You don't have permission to access /store/pub/.ympzpzxcocdjcvuu/notres.zip on this server.

Additionally, a 403 Forbidden error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

I am running the Zen Cart 1.3.0.2
Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.2
v1.3.0.1 [2006-06-04 10:11:13] (Version Update 1.3.0->1.3.0.1)
v1.3.0 [2006-04-04 10:32:00] (Fresh Installation)
v1.3.0 [2006-04-04 10:32:00] (Fresh Installation)

I checked the pub folder and made sure it was 777

Check with your hosting site and see if there is a problem in using symbolic links on your site ...

The /pub has the .htaccess file for:

#prevent directory browsing -- for security
IndexIgnore */*

Options +FollowSymLinks -Indexes

Only problem is my hosting has not changed and these files well under 10K were working fine until I tried it today.

Just for giggles ... turn off the Redirect in the Configuration ... Attribute Settings ...

Does it suddenly work?

If so, ask your hosting company what they changed ...

Is this a download file that has been on the server for some time or a new download file recently loaded to the server?

It was a recent one and it seems others are working

Could you delete the download file from the server and then reload it fresh?

Does it suddenly start working?

I did do that. It was originally a mp3 that I put in zip format then I put it in mp3 format and sent it it fresh. Still getting error on that file.

What is your server's errorlog saying when this happens?
