I wonder where I can download the latest CVS/SVN?
T.ex for the upcoming 1.3.5 so I can start preparing an updated language pack, if it's needed.

Zen Cart is a closed SVN, there are no preproduction releases available.

Why?
A least the English language pack should be made available for us so we can have new local language packs ready..
cause the developers decided at the begining to leave things as they are,
I dont see there being alot of changes to the language files anyway on this release

But what about the previous and the next..Originally Posted by Merlinpa1969

Hm.. sometimes I don't understand the thinking, an childish reply's (not you Merlinpa1969 ;)) around here. But hey, that could be just me..
rued,
I understand your request. Often the language files (and others of course) get updates right at the last minute. Generally the thinking has been that there will be complaints either way....
A. provide advance language file for translation, and then when release comes out, do translation again because things have changed. We get complaints because of the need to repeat work.
B. provide no advance details, and do translation once. We get complaints because translation may have to be done under pressure.
So, we have generally opted for the latter, thus making the work necessary only once. This also holds true in the cases where you have to actually see the text in-action in order to translate it accurately. Thus, since if you only had language files, you couldn't complete the translation anyway.
Your point is understood.
Hopefully you understand the quandry we face...
