how to change the number of New Products on mainpage

hi guys
there are 3 new products pre row on the mainpage
but i wanna set it to 2 products pre row.
how to do it? anybody? thanks~~~~

also the sub-list under the categorie and the products under the sub-list,i want them only show in 2 lists pre row

You might look to the admin > configuration > index listing > New Products Columns per Row > and change this value to '2'
