Default How can I add a quantity box for an attribute?

    Hi

My client is renting out furniture and I want it set it up as follows:
    - Weekly Rate
    - Daily Rate
    - Additional Days

I cannot find any date picker you can add into Zencart so have to have a simple Textbox for Start and End Date. The customer will have to choose which rate to buy at depending on when he wants it, rather than the ideal of using a date picker to calculate number of days.

Anyway, I am having problems with Additional Days. I thought it would be standard to be able to add a Textbox attribute in which someone could enter a number, and this would multiply by the cost of the attribute. So a quantity for an attribute. But I cant seem to do it.

    Is this possible?

If it is not possible then I think this should be something to build in pretty soon as it would make the capabilities of attributes far more powerful. Imagine all the things you could list per product and quantity customisations you can have. Like a shopping list.

At the moment I think the only work around is have a drop down for the number of additional days BUT he rents them out unlimited number of additional days so this is not possible.

I cant use the quantity box in any way as a user needs that to choose how many furniture they want to hire out. e.g. 250 chairs.

    Thanks

For info this is what I have done at the moment, but as you can see if I have loads of extra days to choose then it would be very tiresome to add everyone, as you also have to add a price against each Additional Day, and this price is different for each product! So took ages...

So if anyone has a better suggestion around having each day added as an option (i.e. quantity box) it would be fantastic.

At the present time, this is not a built-in feature.
