hi,

i have a question with ibox. Looking at this link...

When clicking on the larger image the attributes dropdown appears in front of the image. Anyone have a suggestion on how to not have the dropdown appear in the fore-ground?

That's an IE problem. If you look at it in Firefox, it doesn't happen. It has to do with IE's way of handling dropdowns - basically, it renders them on top of the page, no matter what order or z-level they are given, so they "poke through".

The only real way to solve it (besides destroying IE) is to put an empty iframe "shim" under the thing you want on top. For whatever reason, IE lets iframes rest on top of dropdowns, but nothing else. So you basically would have to put an iframe behind the entire lightbox (and screen) after pop-up.

Alex would know a lot better of how to integrate an iframe behind the picture and background, but you could google for IE iframe shim to learn more in the meantime.

A workaround would be to use radio-style buttons as attribute selections instead of a dropdown. It's maybe different from what you want, but it will work.

just like to say that i have both ih2 and lbox installed and both seem to be working fine
admintidally i dont get the pop up image from ih2 when i hover over the image but i didnt want that anyway lol but my lbox works fine on multiple images created with ih2

Zen Lightbox will work with IH2, but only if IH2 is not resizing your images (I think).

However, where Zen Lightbox and IH2 do not get on is during the 'on the fly' resize of images.

I have contacted Tim (the guy behind IH2) for some support regarding this, but he has not replied yet.

So, at the moment I'm trying to get my head around how IH2 works and how to make Zen Lightbox compatible with it.
