Can you get additional images working normally? Or could you get additional images working before installing Zen Lightbox?

Hi Alex,

To be honest I didn't try to use more than one image before installing Light box. I saw it on other sites and liked it so well I knew I had to have it. It is really nice!

I reinstalled Lightbox and now additional images show up in the product display. If I click on the main image it will display in Lightbox properly with a next button at the top. If I click the next button I get a lightbox an icon in the center that looks like a daisy with the petals rotating around the center, nothing else. The images are stored in images/samples instead of the main directory if that matters.

If I go back to the product listing and click on one of the "extra" images I get the same icon rotating. Any ideas? What is the proper way to uninstall Lightbox to start over from scratch?

Before uninstalling check to see if you have Image Handler installed. Zen Lightbox seems to be a bit buggy with that at the moment.

To uninstall Zen Lightbox just restore your backup! :|

Ok, that wasn't funny... I'm sure you've made loads of changes to your site since installing Zen Lightbox and to roll-back that far would be very time consuming.

The best way to uninstall Zen Lightbox is to follow the install instructons in reverse. Since no core files of Zen Cart are overwritten you're safe to go ahead and delete all the Zen Lightbox files.

I just wanted to report that I have lightbox installed on a 1.3.7 development cart with IH2 and have no problems what so ever. No bugs here. I installed IH2 first on a clean install and then installed lightbox and all is good. The only thing I did do was clean up some stuff to make the page validate, but that was after I had been running it for a while.

I also have it working fine with additional images.....

besides additional images lightbox works fine with me and I've been happy about it but I'm using ligthbox with wordpress as well for certain features and photos. I was wondering is there a way to lauch those picture sets somehow with zen also. It would help a lot our navigation on our site. This is how it works on wp:

have got light box working on site, a few questions.

1. ive read on the thread there is a error with the hover function in IE (im using v6,) . ive disabled it from the admin page at the moment but will like to use it. i get an error message at the bottom of iE when it is on (clint y etc ) , but it does work. the error dissaperes if the page is reloaded. any ideas on fix for this

2. ive installed IH2, im assuming that when one image is uploaded from the products discription page, IH2 will create a small, medium and large image versions for the image. Now with the lightbox istalled which image is being called up to be displayed? the default image i uploaded? and are the other size images still being created (small and medium large) as when looking for these images within the image directory i could not find the various size images.

the reason this is bothering me, i do not want zencart to be showing the default size imge on the main homepage with the dimensions just reduced, as the site is really slow anyway. trying to speed it up.

hope this made sence to someone. thanks/ in advance

I believe a solution was posted in the Image Handler 2 support thread.

are the other size images still being created (small and medium large) as when looking for these images within the image directory i could not find the various size images.

Look in the bmz_cache directory in root of shop. More about this on Image Handler 2 support thread and iH2 readme and support docs.

Hi People!

First of all, what a great tool! Unbelievable what noobs can achieve while implementing the genius of other guys with the heart at the right place!

My problem: I am setting up a mulitlingual site, is there a possibility to save the images (next, previous) in language folders that lightbox can still access them, depending on the language template? (I tried to create folders within the images/lightbox directory - it did not work)

2nd: any news on the "bug" (its not really, its just a missing addon) about the review-page-lightbox use... will maybe the validation of using lightbox on any other page (with the adding of slashes) temporarily solve this problem?

3d: I did not understand the post about the hiding of additional images... I am using lightbox with cart 1.3.7 and my additional images are still there... I do not mind, really, or are they supposed to be hidden... thx...

Viewing with Firefox 2.002 the larger product image displays fine with Zen Lightbox.

However when I view ANY page on your shop I see the complete header along with menubar overlapping the rest of the page (or conversely the rest of the page appears shoved up underneath the header). It does not appear related to Zen Lightbox mod install.

Recommend posting your issue to the "CSS Dropdown Menu for your Header" support thread. I'm sure Jade can provide some quality guidance.
