I have flyout categories and they seem to be underneath the product images as here

If you use the "Search this thread" option above and type in "z-index" it returns many instances of where and how the z-index was applied. It's likely you'll find your fix there.

many thanks... have fixed now... bye changing the
line 22 in stylesheet_categories_menu.css file located in my template folder

background: url(../images/submenu.gif) 98% 50% no-repeat; z-index:300;

only trouble is now the category menu items with sub menu's are in front of the lightbox page here when u click on larger image

this is a difficult thing to manage the z-index, if anyone has a suggestion of how to keep track of the different indexes i would appreciate the help.
