What am I missing here fellas?

Chances are you are actually throwing Javascript errors, if you check your error console, as I'm experiencing the same behavior after uninstalling 1.4 and installing 1.5.

I'm seeing the following errors in the console:

$.element is not a function in zen_lightbox_mootools_custom.js

This occurs on page load. When clicking the actual image, I receive the following:

Hash.each is not a function in zen_lightbox_mootools_custom.js

I'm not sure if this is something residual from my previous install (which I had to eliminate due to the IE 7 error), or something is misconfigured on my new install.

No, im not getting errors at all on any of my pages...it just doesnt do anything. I mean images still open in a new window, but as normal via ZC.

Getting the exact same message after installing the latest version.

I uninstalled the old files and installed the new but the install sql file doesn't work and i get that message you are getting.

Now they moved me onto a new server last week with the very latest Apache 2.2 and latest MySQL and another issue is none of my large images are now showing just a large image message and you click it and it leads you to the main page not the image.

If i disable image handler 2 then i still get a blank large image but at least the image loads when you click it.

Incompatibility with the latest SQL or Apache servers or incompatibility with Image Handler 2 using the latest servers ?

I need a fix for this as my shop is live.

I've got problem with this too: $.element is not a function in zen_lightbox_mootools_custom.js

The problem started after I've activated a TinyMCE editor on a Textarea field. But I have no idea what's the reason for the conflict. The error message don't tell much and the JavaScript code is minimized so it's hard to read.
The error is on line 117:

Hi DarkAngel. Thanks for the reply post. Got it! I managed to install the LightBox files and the install.sql file. The Zen LightBox is now showing in the Admin > Configure sections, however it still doesn't appear to be turning my images into lightbox formatt, they are still displaying as popups. Any ideas?

To answer your questions:
were there any errors when you did the sql installation? No, there were no error messages, and Zen Lightbox is showing in Configuration > Lightbox

did you do the installation of sql through the admin section or through the mysqladmin? I installed the sql through Tools > Install SQL Patched (and copied the file and pasted it into the space provided as per the install instructions)

did you have any other version of this previously installed? Nope, no other version of Lightbox installed. Although I am using a template: http://www.templatehelp.com/preset/p...rXQ9FXy42H4d7S

in admin -- have you set the settings? I have set the Lightbox settings in the Config > Lightbox as per below

I think it might be the naming of the installed files - I named them theme277 as that was the 'your template folder'. Hrmm.

what is the actual name of the theme?

when it tells you to put them into your template folder it means to put them into

includes folder/templates folder/YOUR_TEMPLATES_FOLDER/templates/then the file the zip has...

that last bolded part meand you need to go to your templates folder (for instance mine is mostly grey) I would go to mostlygrey and if there were no templates folder inside it I need to create it then plop that file into the newly created folder

if the zip tells you to put the item into YOUR_TEMPLATES_FOLDER and you do not have a folder with your templates name in there then you need to create one in order to continue with the installation.

soooooo, make sure that you have them all in the proper folders, exactly like the zip has in it....NOT renaming the files at all or you will not have a functional modification.

I manage several sites and stores so pm or email me if you think I might need to go into your folders in your c-panel from you server.

not necessary but helpful to know that I can if you need it.

again double check to make sure the items are in the correct folders then post here.

Hrmmm, still no luck! My theme is theme277 (i am pretty sure) although Classic also rates a mention. If you could take a closer look, let me know what log in details you would require. I would very much appreciate it before I loose my mind! :)
