Default Was able to set up for seperate shipping rates but I still need help

Thanks to this forum I figured out how to set up separate shipping rates for each of my products. I set the tares to 0:0 and everything calculates correctly when I go to checkout. But is there a way to remove the label "weight: X>XXlbs" on the checkout form and the shipping estimator. I am charging $.99 for shipping some books, $.49 and $1.49 depending on the size. For example the checkout heading for one of the medium sized books reads . . .

Total Items: 1 Weight: 0.99lbs Amount: $2.99 ($2.99 being the cost of the book in this example)

Is there a way to change the word "Weight" to "Shipping" and remove the lbs . . . or at least remove the "weight-lbs" label altogether and just have 0.99? I don't want a customer to be confused and not know that the figure listed is the shipping cost and not the weight.

Thanks for any help anyone can give.

You can turn off the weight displays in the Admin.

Thanks. But what the tutorial says to do I have done and nothing has changed.
    The turtorial says . . .

Is it possible to turn off shopping cart line that says "Weight: 0lbs" in "Total Items: 1 Weight: 0lbs Amount: $38.95"?

Yes.Go to: Admin->Configuration->Shipping/PackagingSelect Display Number of Boxes and Weight StatusChoose the desired setting:0= off1= Boxes Only2= Wei - 2006-10-11 - Similar Articles

I chose the setting 0 to turn it off, but the "weight" line is still there. Any idea why?

What version of Zen Cart and which template are you using?

    The version is . . .

    Zen Cart 1.3.0.1

    Database Patch Level: 1.3.0.1

The template is one that internetrunner.com setup. I purchased a store from them. To get help they referred me to this forum.

Oh my ... You need to upgrade, that is a very old version and has many bugs and security concerns that have been fixed.

Thanks Kim. In looking at the directions to installing the new version, I am not sure I can do it without messing up something internet runner already set up for me so I will probably have a note somewhere about the wrongly worded heading and live with it. Thank you for answering my questions so quickly.
