    How do I add outside links to the more information sidebox, such as blog, affiliate program etc?

    What version are you using? If 1.3.* then use EZ pages instead for all your information pages. You can choose whether to enter text directly or use a link to an external page or one of the standard information pages such as gift faqs/ contact us. Much easier to manage. You can also choose which ones to display in the header/footer/sidebox.

    As an example: Page 2:

    You can use this and add the link information code to the file using the defines page editor in your admin > tools area.
    Searching for the text of "page 2" you will find that this is in the english.php file:
    Code:
    // information box text in sideboxes/more_information.php - were TUTORIAL_
      define('BOX_HEADING_MORE_INFORMATION', 'More Information');
      define('BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_2', 'Page 2');
      define('BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_3', 'Page 3');
      define('BOX_INFORMATION_PAGE_4', 'Page 4');
    Edit your copy of this file and replace the term within the single quotes to something that you want like . . . . 'Blog' . .Repeat for other wanted items.

    Or ezpages as patski suggested

    Hello
    let's say I want to rename page2 with AAAA, I just change what it is written in red (in the above post) as AAAA?
    And if I don't want that it goes to a new page but to an external link, let's say to the zen cart forum when someone click on it what I have to do if it is possible?

    Thanks

    Hi Kobra ( & anyone else who might be able to help!),
    I found a post by you from about 2005 telling how to add a page to the more_information sidebox.
    You gave comprehensive instructions on which files to add/change.
    I haven't been able to find the post again to add my question to, so I thught this might be ok.
    Anyway, I'd copied the post & saved it to my desktop then followed it yesterday.
    I have the page showing in the sidebox (called Directories), in the define pages editor under admin & being called to the front page.
    The only place it isn't showing up is under configuration define page status, which means that when I add text in tools define page editor it isn't showing on the front page when the page is selected.
    I know I must have missed something somewhere, but I can't for the life of me find where that is!
    I spent hours last night trying & got from the position of the page not being called to the front page at all, to the position I'm in now
    What have/haven't I done!
    I would be grateful for ANYONE'S help, really not picky!!
    Thanks in advance
