    Photos left alligned on mac/safari

Photos left alligned on mac/safari. Every thumbnail on the site is left alighed on my mac but it look sperfect on the PC. Is there a setting somewhere I can change.

Also it there anyway I can get rid of the spacing between the name and the designer on the product listing page under the thumbnails.

Here is and example on both issues:

Thanks for the look...you are using the combo classic template with 2 stylesheets, this I have not mastered, and for other reasons is not the suggested method to use for the future path.

I see that you have not created a custom plate and therefore much of your edits are to core files. These will be overwritten in any upgrade to the Zen Cart application that you make and 1.3.5 is currently available.

Not on subject, but to save you future grief, I suggest that you first make local copies of all the files that you have edited. Look to the date stamp on the files on your host as the ones that you have changed will have a later date than most. Keep these in the zen structure on your machine.

Create a custom template even if identical to the one that you are using so that all of these files can be in their own folders named for your template. This is to preserve all of your edits when you eventually do an upgrade.

I would base this template on the template default files(not the classic files), and this will correct and ease styling for many issues.

Once you have a custom template and your edited files in their respective folders, you can consider upgrading to 1.3.5 and be prepared for the great things that are coming, without having to fully redesign.

Sorry for going on about this but it is very important to the futue of your shop.

Thanks for taking the time to look at my issue. You're comments i'm sure are extremely valid about the templates, i was sorta confused about the two style sheets, but i've hacked around to make things work. As I stated previously, we are creating two zencarts at once and i've use the same technique, or lack thereof, for each project and getting different results. I copied the css from the flawless project and uploaded that to the example i've mentioned and it didn't change anything with the images, so I've been able to rule it out the css. I guess I should upload some of the other template pages and see what the results are.

No Luck I've uploaded many files and i'm not seeing any changes. Any thoughts or sugguestions would be really great, anything that might help me pinpoint the alignment issue.

    thanks

This is still the best suggestion I can offer. There are many reasons to do this, future upgrading compatibility the largest.

Thanks again. You we're right. I'm in the middle of creating my own template and that's solved my problem. I now have a much better understanding of Zen Cart, i had really mad it much more challenging for myself by not creating an actual template from the start.

While I didn't find an actual solution, i'm at least on the right path. What did I noticed was that it was also out of alignment on FireFox, both PC & Mac, which is also prevalent on this board.

    Anyway, thanks again.

    Looks great now!!!

Sometimes is is just more expedient to do what is known to work than to attempt to fix what you have.

Just a bit of styling and you should be good to go.

Hi, I too am having problems with product spacing - on thumbnail view
    test example here -
    http://www.beeunique.co.uk/alttest/i...index&cPath=72
The product name is followed by a line space and then price, another line space and then add to cart - we've tried everything and searched forum but cant see how to get rid of these extra spaces - can anyone help? Nearly finished our upgrade and just trying to sort out some small problems.

We're also stuck on how to make the product name under thumbnail smaller - any help on that would also be appreciated.

    Ta, Nickki
