Error 28 from table handler.

I did a search on this topic. I found similiar posts but none that helped me.
Here is the error:
1030 Got error 28 from table handler
in:
[select banners_id, banners_title, banners_image, banners_html_text, banners_open_new_windows, banners_url from zen_banners where status = 1 and banners_group = 'SideBox-Banners' order by rand()]

I am clueless...........completely!

These errors usually happen when something is wrong with MySQL server, in most cases it runs out of free space for temporary files.
The only thing u can do is contact your web hosting party, they are the only one who can fix it (unless of course you have root access to the server).

I'm also now getting this error. What should I do? There is no point trying to contact my host as they never reply, I will be changing soon, but untill I do can someone please help!

If you were entering information, press the BACK button in your browser and re-check the information you had entered to be sure you left no blank fields.

It looks like I have plenty of space on my sever, but I can't check the MySQL server ???
