Problem with contributions?

I submitted a contribution a week ago (09/06) and it hasn't shown up in the downloads area yet - is there a problem or are people just very busy? Should I resubmit?

I would also like to know.. I've submitted two revisions to two contributions and they haven't shown up yet

Last revision I did I submitted in late July.. and it was approved a week or two ago

The admins and mods of this site get 1000's of posts a day, they try thier best to get everything oked, straight and maybe a little bit backwards.

If they see it fit for the downloads it will show if not then it will not, however if it was approved you will recieve a email stating so.

If it is approved and it doesnt show there is a forum thread in the site to post and ask about it.

getyourgameshere: remember that the contribs area was down for a long time prior to the introduction of the new forum; perhaps that's why yours took so long to get posted. Still, it seems odd because I've put up several contribs in the last couple of months with 24-48 hr turnaround. I'm worried that the contribs area might be down again for updates, but I don't want to make alternate arrangements for hosting my contribs without knowing the facts, since the mods have asked that contribs be hosted on their site.

My understanding is that the last time it was taken down was because it was hacked, and I'm trying to find out whether thi s has happened again, and if so, what we should do about it. OTOH, if people are just busy and the turnaround time is now two weeks instead of 24-48 hrs, then that's ok too as long as it's communicated.
